Bridging the gap between academic research and industrial innovation in cybersecurity is well and truly underway!

At the core of SECURE-NET is the series of 35 talent exchanges between academic and non-academic partners and the first one has successfully concluded earlier this spring.

For two weeks IT Solutions of Alytus, Lithuania hosted Rolandas Girčys from Kaunas University of Technology not only to work on the company’s cybersecurity concerns, but to discuss how IT Solutions could get involved into various academic activities at KTU. This was the first of 6 SECURE-NET secondments aimed at strengthening local innovation ecosystems, whereas remaining 29 are set to be international. Duration of project secondments varies between 2 weeks and 3 months.
